Eurovision Song Contest 2013 – And my points go to..

Today no lipstick, creaseless cream shadow or eyeshadow review. Let’s talk about one of my biggest guilty pleasures: The Eurovision Song Contest. I’ve always been a bombbasticly huge fan and no matter how many times The Netherlands didn’t go through, I loved everything about it.

This year the festival is hosted in Malmö, Sweden and I’m going to do something I’ve always wanted to do: Give points to my favorite songs..

1 POINT: Greece –  Koza Mostra feat. Agathon Iakovidis – “Alcohol Is Free”

2 POINTS: Norway –  Margaret Berger – “I Feed You My Love”

3 POINTS: France – Amandine Bourgeois – “L’Enfer Et Moi”

4 POINTS: Belgium – Roberto Bellarosa – “Love Kills”

5 POINTS: Russia – Dina Garipova – “What If”

6 POINTS: Iceland – Eythor Ingi – “Ég Á Líf”

7 POINTS: Sweden – Robin Stjernberg – “You”

And now, let’s continue with the remaining points.

8 POINTS go to… The Netherlands – Anouk – “Birds”

Okay, I see you judging me here, but I had to! *looks away in guilt*
I’m so insanely proud of Anouk for getting us to the finals after 9 years of utter failure.
I definitely had to get used to the song when I first heard it, but trust me when I say “Birds” will stay in your head for days and days.

10 POINTS go to… Germany – Cascada – “Glorious”

This song is so catchy! It’s fun, very 2013 and again, a song that’ll stay in your head for days. Other than that I just really like Cascada, and I think she’ll be amazing live.

And finally my 12 POINTS go to… Denmark – Emmelie de Forest – “Only Teardrops”

Can we talk about instant winner-material?
Gorgeous girl? Yes – Whistles? Check! -Raining fire on stage? WINNER.
Denmark already has been crowned biggest favorite of the year, so my guess is we’ll be watching Eurovision 2014 from Copenhagen next year.
